Sergio and Adriana
& The First Tango Ballet of Bahia Blanca

Picture of Sergio and Adriana dancing tango.

Sergio and Adriana Katz began professional Tango dancing together in 1991. They have performed in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, U.S. and on cruise ships. They will be performing in Jacksonville from April 17 through April 30, 2006. This year's performers will feature Sergio Katz, Adriana Visnivetski, Maria Christina Fuertes, Mariana Monrroy, Francisco Luis Fidalgo, and singer/musician Pablo Cesar Bibelli.

In Argentina they’ve taught Tango for kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and have designed a special Tango course for the blind.

The First Tango Ballet of Bahia Blanca’s mission is to perform the dance of Tango as it should be performed, with plenty of excitement, swift Tango movements, and a multitude of colorful costumes. They trace the history of the Tango from its beginnings in the barrios of Buenos Aries to the modern dance expressions of today.
