Located in the southwest province of Buenos Aires with a population of 300,000. 

Argentina's second busiest port due to its proximity to the agricultural area known worldwide as "La Pampa" that produces abundant exports of beef, cereals, wheat, corn and sunflower oil.


A sub-tropical climate, home port for large naval units, and known for its nationally recognized championship basketball and softball teams.
