NMBM Inbound Delegation - May 1–6, 2018
Thank you to all host families, NMB committee and JSCA members for volunteering.

Delegation participated in various meeting and visited sites including:
Main Library, Dallas Graham, Regency and Beaches Branches (visits and discussion)
Chamber of Commerce, City Council President
& photo, Dr. Charles Moreland & photo,
City departments (film, special events), Cultural Council, Library departments (oral history,
digital cataloging and community outreach), Nelson Mandala Youth Ambassadors.
Durkeeville (including a round-table discussion and presentations on ASLAH. Buffalo
Soldiers, and Montfort Point Marines) Eartha MM White, Rhoda Martin Cultural Heritage
Center in JAX Beach and The Ritz.
Schools: Edward Waters College, Stanton College Preparatory School
Tours: City Hall, Florida Theatre, Sally’s Industries, Time Union Performing Arts Center,
Veterans Arena and a driving tour of historic Jacksonville.
Others: Dinner at Gilbert’s Southern Kitchen & Bar in JAX Beach, Lunch at Clara’s at
The Cathedral, Cultural Council Awards Banquet at TIAA Field East Club, Concert at
Florida Theatre featuring Herb Albert with Lani Hall and shopping at Avenues Mall
and Dollar Tree
