BAHÍA BLANCA, ARGENTINA
The White Bay by the Atlantic ocean, Bahía Blanca is located in the southwest province of Buenos Aires with a population of over 301,000.
Argentina's second busiest port due to its proximity to the agricultural area known worldwide as "La Pampa," produces abundant exports of beef, cereals, wheat, corn, and sunflower oil. A homeport for large naval units, Bahía Blanca is also recognized for producing many internationally ranked basketball players.

In the last 20 years, Bahía Blanca has seen significant advancements in renewable energy, particularly with the development of wind farms in the region. Additionally, it has faced environmental challenges, particularly related to flooding and coastal management, leading to new efforts in urban planning and sustainability.
